Seeing as due to some bull**** technicality he is still IBF belt holder,I guess he will be fighting Dierry Jean who won the eliminator last week. Probably in September or so.

Unless he vacates, but really hes damn lucky he has it.

Is he finished at the very top level? Alot of people want him out of the way and he is very much in the background now.

well Mattysses title claim wasnt on the line either so not really a technicality they agreed on it

any way unless the fight did major demoralizing for Lamont he should be fine and remain a top fighter in the division

He can fight Ortiz again. I think he can win that fight.

To be honest I wouldnt really recognise Matthyssess current title since Garcia is the champion. Its just a paper belt.

Garcia and Matthysse will fight to determine who the undisputed champion of the 140lb division, the toughest in boxing .

Peterson has options though but its just so tough out there in 140lb right now. Its rough neighbourhood, guys looking to make a name.

Here's the thing. Since he got KO'd quickly & didn't take a beating, he should be fine and ready to go. Plenty of entertaining fights out there for him. I actually think Lamont is better than Garcia

Good shouts there. Khans eyeing Devon then Floyd though I think personally.
Terence Crawford is a big name right now, that kid can box.

Judah Peterson could be all or nothing for Zab Judah there interesting fight.

    Khan: seems likely now

Judah: possible, Judah was his mandatory at one time.

    Alvarado: Top Rank (wont happen)

    Olesugun: maybe?

This cheat was busted for taking PEDs and still holds on to the title and keeps his win against Khan. Then he gets demolished by Lucas and yet still gets to keep his IBF title! :patsch

    And vacate?

The IBF rankings wont give him too many big names to fight anytime soon.

The only big name is Amir Khan. The only other known guy is Spadafora whos about 8th.
