Now that it looks like Taylor won't to for a rematch with Pavlik right off the bat whats he gonna do? Fight a Interim bout with a top rated guy or A club fighter? stay at 160 or go to 168?:huh

I would love to see him fight Miranda, but he won't be facing any power punchers any time soon. He'll go back to fighting feather-fisted opponents. I think the Pavlik rematch is at least a year away, possibly for a SMW belt by then.

JT would definetly climb out of the hole he dug himself into if he fought Miranda next. I would love to see that fight.

I agree with this, I think him an winky should do the rematch and then the winner gets a shot at the champ, even though Taylor is the #1 contender for the belt and should rightfully get an immediate rematch 4 his belt. There is a rematch clause after all so I mean I dont see why hes not gettin another shot at pavlik. But hey, him an wink should b a good match

Who isbalking on the rematch? Taylor or Pavlick? If its Taylor, that means he's not very confident of winning a rematch. In such case his next move would be to fight a softie.Peter Manfredo?

Taylor's camp has full rights to exercise the rematch clause.

I understand that Gionvanni Lorenzo is trying to call Taylor out for a match for #1 Contender on the WBC belt.

Aside from that Sergia Mora would be a good opponent though I'm not sure his style of fighting would be a good prep for a rematch with Pavlik.

This would require him to go up in weight, but I think he needs to go after Miranda next.

Miranda is facing some super-middlewight named Henry Porras at the end of the month. It's a definite test-the-water, confidence builder fight. We'll see then if Pavlik broke more than Miranda's body in their fight.

Assuming that Miranda's spirit is intact then he'd be an excellent interim fight.

Taylor needs to go up against an aggressive power puncher in his next fight. Going up against a junior middleweight would be poor preparation for a rematch with Pavlik.

I think Taylor has gotten to used to the big paydays like the 3 mil he got for taking the Pavlik fight. If he wants to continue to get paydays like that (particularly if he wants to fight the winner of Calzaghe/Kessler) he needs to rematch Pavlik sometime next year. (earlier the better)

  12. JT will probaly exercise the rematch clause for a return bout with Pavlik, i hope that was a damn good scrap..:happy

I disagree. When he fights the smaller guys he looks unimpressive ie Wright, Ouma, Spinks. He showed "bad intentions" in his fights with real middleweights. He hurt Pavlik & knocked him down, but not Wright, Ouma, nor Spinks. So if anything, he should avoid the smaller guys like the plague.

Taylor should fight 6'1 Marco Antonio Rubio ,tall like pavlik and a power puncher like Pavlik but not as good as Pavlik, but Rubio would get Taylor ready for Kelly.:deal more so then someone like Mora:-(
