He lost with Povietkin and Adamek, two great fighters. His performance was quite good both were close fights But he lost Is there any chance for JE in HW?May he be only a tester for new prospects?
He is probably at the similar lever when Chambers was after his lose to Povetkin. He need to beat some other out of top 10 boxers to see where he is now. I think the fight between him and Banks would be interesting
Make Estrada - Banks happen, then we will see, i like Estrada i was just so dissapointed the way he spat his dummy out at the post Adamek confrence
I like him also I was dissapointed during the fight with his hand up after every round, for me pathetic and just funny
Estrada is a solid heavyweight and I thought he'd beat Adamek. He isn't a top 10 heavyweight but he's probably in the 15-20 range. I think he makes for a very good top 10 gatekeeper. Beat him and you might get in but lose and you're not. Estrada consistently fights tough competition so I expect him to keep doing so. He will never win a title but he can still land some more important fights like he did with Povetkin and Adamek.
He is a gatekeeper now. I think he fought good against Adamek but don't see him being a champ anytime soon.
Chambers did better than Estrada against Povetkin, secondly that is Chamber's first and only loss while this is Estrada's third loss. Also Chambers has 35 wins, his record looks very good at 35-1. Estrada has like 16 wins and his record is 16-3 with 4 kos pretty medicore. Chambers has some decent wins on his record, especially Sam Peter and Dimitrienko, while Estrada has.....nobody on his record. Jason Estrada needs to win against someone good to be a factor at HW division.
estrada is a good fighter.... Its his ego that is holding him back.. He needs to start more road work, more weightlifting, ect.... He thinks hes some kind of superstar... but he keeps losing fights The worst was when he cried that he was robbed by adamek..atsch before adamek tired out, he was schooling estrada, and estrada still acted like he was winning :rofl His ego, is what holds him back :good
Estrada can make some money and perhaps back door his way to a title shot. He'll never win a belt though and I see him a peg or two below Chambers and Arreola.
It's on to the mega fight that every hardcore boxing fan wants to see. Jason Estrada VS Kevin Johnson: Who punches first? Unused will VS unused skill. Passive aggressive VS aggressively passive. Let's get it on!
That actually is a reasonable fight. Might be OK and the winner could still kick around the top 15 for a while.:smoke:smoke
