The odds will depend on what happens in Kessler-Ward fight.

Before we knight Kessler as the second coming of Leif Ericsson and "tattoo" his face on the Viking helmet, let's understand one simple fact: Dude is a 6 round fighter...period! Besides Calzaghe who utterly humiliated Viking Princess in the center and getting off first, tell me another fighter that Mikkel has faced to get him ready for the turns, pivots, stage feints and peppering from the switches he's about to see?

"Don't get caught watching the paint dry" (Hoosiers 1986)!

Calzaghe hardly humiliated him. Calzaghe was the only one getting nailed by hard punches for the first 6 rounds. Calzaghe was the one looking bad for a long period.

    I'd say.....

    Kessler 4/9
    Froch 11/8

    Kessler by stoppage 13/8
    Kessler points 8/11
    Froch by stoppage 3/1
    Froch points 4/1

Can't see any odds up for this one yet....

    I'll say 1/2 Kessler 5/4 Froch

I think these are pretty much spot on.

There's no way that you'll get 5/2 on froch.

Put it this way if someone offers 5/2 I will be loading on it.

I know your not the biggest fan off Froch but I'm sure you might be tempted at 5/2. Especially after Kesslers performance on Saturday.

The odds will be very tight now, trust me. If Kessler had of won he'd have been a 4/7 favourite but now I expect evens. I wouldn't even be surprised if Froch ended up a slight favourite.

  9. I agree... I'd be confident Froch was fav now.. Kessler was **** poor on saturday night.

    You may be right.

A different type of fight though, Froch clearly doesn't have the speed, mobility etc that Ward has. This fights a different kettle of fish.

If Froch is made fav, I'll be having a wager on Kessler I think.

One thing that may be similar though...with the way Kessler got upset with Ward's underhand tactics, I wouldn't be surprised if Froch trys to play dirty (not that he needs encouragement). Having said that, it's in Denmark...

    Me too to be honest.

I think there has to be big question marks over Kessler though. I hope he comes through.
