What odds would you put on Mayweather vs Cotto right now?

    Mayweather has incredible speed, athletic talent, conditioning and boxing smarts, but Cotto is just relentless. I just re-watched his fight with Judah and from round 8 on it was a slaughter, pretty brutal. I figure he threw more than 60 punches (hard ones, too) a round in those last rounds.

    Also note that Cotto has the stylistic advantage of swarmer against boxer. That didn't amount to much for Hatton, though.

    I'd gamble if I could get odds on Mayweather, so I guess I see him as a more than slender favourite.

    Makes alot of sense but if Cotto has trouble w/ Margarito then expect the odds to go higher in Mayweather's favor.

    10/1 favourite would be 1/10.

    You put £10 on him to win one pound, that makes him a clear, clear favourite.

    In reality, Floyd will be about 10/11....Cotto probably 2/1.

    Yes the swarming style didn't work for Hatton, but Cotto is a much more accurate puncher, and has far more refined skills. I still think 6 rounds of swinging and missing will hurt Cotto, and Mayweather takes a decision.

    Floyd would likely be around 4/7 and Cotto 4/3

    after Margarito that might change

    people saying 1/10 and such have never gambled at a bookie.
