WHAT on EARTH is TUA DOING??

I'll be there, Shamrock. Maybe we can get comps from our friend??? In a NZ article in NZ, Friday said he would have rather fought Tua than Cameron as it would have earned him more money. Cameron probably now agrees! If Friday becomes ranked in the top 20 now, it would be a doable fight. This way, Tua could fight the guy who beat Cameron without fighting Cameron. A win all the way around.

BTW, I thought Cameron was winning the fight. Did you see it? Did you think Cameron was winning? That said, it's hard to beat a KO.

 

He must not like fighting past round 2. It's sorta sad I don't think he has anything to fear from the top names. He's just an aspiring janitor. Cheers mates:good

Camerons new coach Osvaldo Garcia was in my gym last night diehard, he's adament Cameron only had to last that ko round. I think Cameron was lucky that black American couldn't get traction, he would have finished it earlier. Garcia said Cameron was slipping too on the promotional paint on the canvas.

Shane Cameron will be a better fighter now that Garcia has cemented himself in that camp. He never had enough time to get right into Cameron's head for that one. Garcia is No1 coach in NZ at present, no doubt about that. (amateur or pro).

 

shamrock, whats your opinon on joe Nanai? i think hes an exceptional trainer especially of polynesian fighters

 

I've known Joe for a long time Tuaman, he coached Monty Bhana, if you know Monty you could ask him about Joe. Joe is a great coach and a super person, he is one of the nicest persons I have met in boxing, I just love Joe Nanai, he has a heart of gold, and loves boxing.

Joe and I went to a couple of night clubs a long time ago. He stayed at my house sometimes over Christmas with his family. Great guy.

 

Mollo is supposed to be set for Golota. I think Tua will probably fight another 'T can in this next fight. Just my guess.

I think someone on the level of a Timor Ibragimov, Lance Whitaker, or maybe Owen Beck , would be doable for Tua, after one more easy opponent.

 

Shamrock, one can also argue that Cameron would have ko'd him if he got some traction. But I doubt it.

No one from Cameron's camp contacting me regarding a chinese herbal liquid that toughens the skin. My wife is a black belt martial artist, and is familiar with how to use it. She says the chinese martial artists have been using it for thousands of years, and still use it today. So Garcia is welcome to contact me, and I'll put him in touch with her. She said it takes between 3-6 months to fully work, and it needs to be applied daily. Let's face it, those skin creams prescribed by skin specialists didn't work.

 

Thats interesting, I didn't get Garcia's new cell number but I'll see how to contact him.

She does. She demands to do it! I reluctantly agree. I'm going to try and stop by when I'm in Auckland in about two weeks time. I'll call first to see if you are in. I do a 5 day training from 9-4:30 M-F. I'll bring her along in case you get mad at me for suggesting Tua can whoop Klit.

 

My wife can fight too mate, she had no formal training or anything but goes ape on 1/2 glass of wine when provoked. I'll keep a bottle at the gym just in case things get unruly. She's there 4 nights a week.

I think you're jumping the gun more than a little here. It's only been barely two months since his last fight, and he's fought twice in a three-month span. It isn't as though he's suddenly gone on a huge lay-off. He may be looking for some better opposition than the cannon fodder he's fought the last two times out, which could take longer to arrange than one of these small-scale blastings.

 

I think the setback was due to the two deaths of his aunt and close friend. But he still should have fought in Nov-Dec. I'm hoping, like you say, that the Jan 25th fight, and the delay, is due to a ranked opponent. Otherwise, we start all over again in 2008 with tomato cans.
