What one ability distinguished Marciano...

There have always been two things that stood out to me - I remembered a quote from Archie Moore that really set me back and I started looking at Rocky a little differently after reading that. Archie was once asked if Rocky was the hardest puncher he had ever faced and he quickly said no. But added Rocky was the strongest man he had ever faced. When I looked at all the men Archie had been in the ring with it really stood out as a complement.
As I began to look for it that truth shone out like a beacon.
The other, IMHO, often overlooked thing I see about Rocky is his absolutely unearthly workrate. When the bell rings he is hitting you till it stops and quite often a second or two more

 

Supposedly could suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

The fact that he was able to retire at the top with his health, money and record intact? Its few champs you can mention that have done that.

He was a mean ******* in his later years ive heard, so it isn't surprising he never went broke.

I hope it's not that he took a shot to land a shot?? that's goes under will to win
