Boosts his resume massively and also makes the Canelo/Khan fight seem not such a loss for Team Brook? I'm thinking Thurman or Bradley/Pac winner. Agreed?
Yep, those unification fights mentioned would be good. Broner would also be a pretty big fight for him.
Agreed, I can't see Brook travelling to America to fight the likes of Garcia, Thurman unless he really has to. I think Matchroom will push for a big UK fight even if it means fighting at light-middleweight or catchweight. If he moves up for one fight he would still have the option to return to Welterweight to defend his IBF title.
He needs to go to the States if he wants to advance his career. The next fight has to be a marquee name.
But does he want to though? The only fight he has spoken about is Khan, he's never mentioned the other names in the division. He got paid well to smash the likes of Gavin up, maybe he's happy with that for now - racking up a few defenses along the way. He's 29 so there's hardly a major rush. Most things you hear as well suggest Kell hardly lives the life and likes a beer or two. He might be ok with how things are going for now.
Kell needs a big name on his record. The only notable win he has is over Shawn Porter. I have no idea why he fought Frankie Gavin last year. Absolute disgrace, you're meant to be a world champion and you're defending your title against Frankie Gavin who is domestic level. He was unfortunate with the Diego Chaves fight though, that would've been a good name to have on his record. Brook needs to travel to the States. Hearn isn't going to get a big name over here.
Bang on. Kell is all talk. Ok, he went abroad (once) but he's done nothing since except talk. He's going down the route of Barry/Eubank. Just milk the belt dry against nobodies whilst avoiding really challenges.
Only three opponents really: Danny Garcia. Thurman/Porter winner. Pacquiao/Bradley winner. And of course Golovkin at MW.
