I remember Hopkins after beating Pavlik saying he wanted to be out next in April 09 now it's nearly August 09 and still no news of his next fight . Any views?
His options are pretty limited, there's no one left for him to beat and nothing to prove. There's no real big money fights out there for him either really plus chad looks to be tied up with glen johnson. I suppose he could take on roy but what does that prove? If i was him Id call it a day
He should have take or made the fight with Adamek - now it doesnt look like he'll be fighting this year at all. Other than Adamek (who's talking about moving to Heavyweight - or - Dawson (if he wins his rematch) - there's not much left for him out there that would be interesting to us. Please oh please - don't let them talk about a Roy Jones Jr. rematch - nobody wants to see this fight now.
I suppose he could beat up pascal. I don't really see him fighting at all this year, there's nothing out there for him.
For me Dawson is no 1 fight at the moment for Hopkins , but neither men look keen on that fight for what ever reason , followed by Adamek @ Cruiser then maybe Pascal another credible world title fight for BHop !!!!!
Calzaghe rematch anyone? I would personally like to see this one, and do think Hopkins would win the second time around.
