WHy would you have Clottey below those guys? His fight with Cotto could have gone either way.

    1) Haye - This shouldn't even be close. He's a current beltholder, he's the only 2 weight world champ, he's the only person here to unify a division. He might've lost once, but that was a long time ago, and saying he's done nothing so far at HW is unfair to him considering he's won a belt at only his 3rd fight at the weight

    2) Bute - I think that haye is miles out in 1st, but these next 3 are all pretty close. I think you need to put bute next because he is unbeaten, rated as no. 1 in his division and is a currecnt belt holder, he may be reletively un-tested so far, but at least he's beaten every1 he's fought

    3) Clottey - Both him and Kessler lost their last 2 fights, but clottey's was vs a P4Per and was a very close fight. He may only be ranked 5th in his division, but its the deepest division in the sport. Forgetting his DQ loss, he lost in close fights vs v good boxers, however, he's also not beaten any top class fighters

    4) Kessler - Lost his last fight, and lost it quite badly to some1 who had never previously fought a world title fight. Quite a few better than him at the moment in his own division

I'd say No....twice Haye as gone to a belt holders back yard an come back with the belt. Credit where credit is due. I'm not saying Haye is the greatest ever or anything stupid like that (before ppl here accuse of nuthugging). But compared to the 3 other fighters, he is ahead of them IMO.

Well Zab Judah is world class and he fought to close fights with Pfp guys Cotto and Margarito.

Ward is regarded the no1 Sm by many right now.

I think Kessler has enough left to beat Froch.

I only now of 2 hw fights for Haye id like to see how his chin holds up at Heavy before putting him high on PFP list, he obviously has good skills but until then i wont rank him high.

Saying Haye is higher p4p compared to the other 3 doesn't put in high on the p4p list. Its just compared to the other 3.

Zab Judah had only won 2 of his last 6 going into the fight. Yeah, 2 of them were against greats, but when was the last time zab had a good win?

I agree that a lot of people consider ward number 1, but if you put bute at 1 or 2, he def has to be higher kessler, and imo, the fact he holds a belt, is unbeaten etc, you have to put him ahead of JC as well.

Your view that kessler will beat froch should have absolutely no effect on this p4p list.

I don't think that right now haye is anything special at HW, but on what he did at CW alone he tops these other 3 fighters and by some way

I disagree with you because although I give credit to Haye for winning titles and unifying at CW, I feel that he did it against opposition that was not highly rated at all and wasn't very dominant in the process either.

I thought he looked pretty good in the Macarinelli fight but that guy is terrible. I thought he looked terrible in the Mormeck fight but put it down to him being drained. I thought he looked pretty bad in the Valuev fight despite him being so outsized. I didn't think he looked any better than Chagaev or Ruiz did against that guy

That's not how it works actually otherwise everytime Pacman or PBF moved up a weight they would drop down the rankings p4p because they had yet to prove anything at their new weight.

Having Kessler above Haye is insane. Kessler was beaten by Calzaghe in his biggest fight and in his last fight was thrashed by Ward. So he has 2 arguably 3 top level fights and has lost 2 of them and all at one weight.

Haye was undisputed Cruiserweight and Ring Magazine champion and is 3-0 at his new weight with a world title. Before the Cotto fight, Manny had never fought at 147, so he was an unknown quantity at that weight with nothing on record, but nobody dropped his p4p ranking. When RJJ took Ruiz's title we all knew that at the weight he was not top tier and would lose horribly to Lewis, V.Klit, W.Klit etc but that didn't mean his ranking dropped because he was not as good a force at heavy as some other men were at lower weights, it added to his p4p ranking.

Fair play, but depends on your perspective. I happen to think all mac and mormeck were great performances. Under the circumstances, the pressure, the hype and so forth. The valuev performace wasn't great but was enough IMO.
