I respect Ortiz and his actions on Saturday but I don't think he needed to excessively apologize ... he should've followed that headbutt with a shot to the nuts. Head butt his ass again ... don't stop till you get your pound of flesh. I think its okay to be rough like that, don't regret it just don't get caught next time. Take that point loss and hit him low next time. Throw May off and look to throw him off mentally.

true he should either have stayed bad ass and didnt give a **** about floyds feelings or not do it at all in the first place, which would be the best option.
Not headbutt him out of frustration then ask for forgiveness.

Yup but I said before the fight started that Ortiz had to go for broke ... the most I'd ever seen Mayweather roughed up was against Oscar ... Oscar made sure that Floyd was pushed around, elbowed, headbutted, forearm to the neck, low blows ... everything.

That's what Ortiz had to do ... he had to go all out against Mayweather and put it on the line. Atleast if he did get knocked out or stopped, he would've gave Money May hell for as long as it lasted.
