LaMotta was "hungry" those days and in the 1940s ,there were so many fighters and boxing arenas you had to fight often or go by the wayside.

Beating the likes of Jimmy Edgar and Charley Hayes is one thing, but fighting Sugar Ray Robinson twice in less than a month, now that is inhuman.

Lamotta must have had serious bragging rights down the local bar after that run!

Nope, just a man. Undefeated doesn't always = good now does it?

    He beat-

    1. a 1-0 Stanley Goicz (W4, in April of 1941)

    2. a 1-0 Lorenzo Strickland (W4)

    3. a 1-0-1 Frankie Jamison (UD)

    4. a 16-0 Jimmy Edgar (W10)

    5. an 11-0 Charley Hayes (KO6, in Jan. of 1943)

    6. and a 40-0 SRR (W10 in Feb. of 1943, who already had a win over Lamotta and went 5-1 (1) vs. Jake lifetime). Those are the only undefeated fighters he beat in his entire career.

What the hell are you guys talking about? Quit rewriting history ****ers! lol
