*****s are jealous on what's happening to Pac's career. Expect Floyd's family to rehash their "Pac on Ped" yarn. Naturally, ESB *****s will take the cue.
Why should any Floyd fan be jealous of someone whose career is lower than his? atsch Try to use your brain, i.e, think. It will sure make you a better person. :yep
Pac is giving the sport a spotlight. While floyd is giving spotlight to beating up women and security guards. :-(
Being the fight is going to be on Showtime/CBS how much will it benefit the sales? http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=284484 im getting mixed emotions here, some are saying more than hbo, and some are saying it doesnt matter where he goes, its who he fights.
"Showtime, and CBS put the finishing touches on a three-way contract that calls for the May 7th fight between boxings reigning pound-for-pound king and Shane Mosley to be televised on Showtime Pay-Per-View." "Showtime and CBS (a terrestrial network) are owned by the media conglomerate CBS Corporation. " Im guessing most people didnt even look at the article? Pac isnt fighting on CBS, its Showtime PPV, they say that outright. They do say that they will do lots of promoting on CBS which owns Showtime. They say they will do a 24/7 type show on CBS and have ads during NCAA basketball. Actual fight is on PPV
Well thats the point. The fight is now being advertised to 100+mil people as oppose to 30mil with HBO. Doesn't matter where its being shown really, the key thing here is that its 24/7 and promotion will be shoved into mainstream. I wouldn't be surprised if this breaks the 1.4mil Floyd set with Mosley, despite Mosley's stock having dropped and this fight being viewed as a mismatch.
That was funny man! He might have been traumatized by losing the the God of all Slicks in Floyd! :good
