What pathetic controversy will Floyd use to sell the rematch?

Let's try it this way. There are 6 refs that are licesned in Vegas. If a fighter has the authority to unilaterally deny a ref, they he can easily dicate who the ref is going to be. This of course would violate the Ali Act. This is definately different than the Froch/Groves situation. Those officials were selected by The IBF. The selection process is subject to IBF, and the pool of officials spans the globe.

The selection process in Vegas is subject to a different entity's rules. The pool of candidates is much smaller as well. I've seen fighters object to officials in bouts in California before. The same officials were still used. Now Cali has different rules than Vegas, but they are both still bound by the Ali Act. It's silly to ask me to prove a rule doesn't exist. If you think there is a rule in place that allows fighters in Vegas to unilaterally deny an oppointed official, then you should be able to find it and show it to me. You're basically making up your own rules, and acting as if they're fact and asking me to proove that your made up rules are in fact made up.

 

I don't think he can outbox him, but I'd much rather see him try than cheat his way to a victory.
