    I tried,but every time I asked,he said "no mas"
When he came to me because he was pratted, the least I could do was oblige.

but when the fight was made in '89 u ran the whole time like a lil' *****! then when u tried to exchange at the end of the fight, to erase the memory of u stinking out the joint, duran caught u with a single shot that gave u a cut that required 50 stitches to close. u knew what was up.

That's exactly why I don't expect any of my fans with half a brain cell to pay any heed to my career post Hagler.Even before that I was on the way down.
That's how I can tell the low IQ's.Anybody who uses anything post 87 against Ray..erm..I mean er..me is never gonna be the soapiest baby wipe in the packet.
    I know what's up.:yep

Let's agree to disagree here.Like Barrera,I know people will always pick holes in Ray's ****.
But they were MY favourites, and I'll do my best by them when I can.
Duran 1 is actually one of my favourite Leonard fights, but the only people who mention the likes of Camacho are people with a particular dislike/agenda.
    Big fan of Azumah too.

LOL at that bs about the styles.

He simply couldn't beat Duran in the first fight. That is why he lost.

Duran lost the second fight because he wasn't in proper shape and literally felt like SRL wasn't fighting in the fight.

That is why he called him a clown.

 I grew up watching these fights SRL let Duran get into his head the first go round. there is a famous story about how the ran into each other on the street before the fight and Duran chumped SRL in front of his wife. SRL was told move that whole fight but he told dundee that he would not and fought flat footed.

Duran could not handle SRL speed and movement in the second fight and SRL started to showboat and then Duran said No Mas.

Duran blamed the loss to an eating binge before the fight and that he cramps or something like that. If that was true or not he quit and it was not SRL fault that he ate himself sick.

He got flat out beat. That is what he got.

Is that why two of the judges had SRL up by 2 and one by 1?

    Yep, total domination.

He never actually said no mas.

He said he didn't want to fight that clown anymore.

That is totally true. But.......if people don't like Duran's excuses, then they shouldn't like SRL's either.

its not an excuse (SRL) its what happened . . . he tried to out fight Duran instead of box after being told to use movement . . . and several independent sources have reported that (not SRL corner).

I did not say he was dominating him I said that duran could not handle his movement and quit . . . if you think it was from cramps thats your choice but he quit end of. Besides he would have no idea what the cards where before he quit maybe he got frustrated and said **** it (I guess it is better than biting an ear off:lol:).

Man I eat, slept, and drank boxing at that time frame. I have forgotten more about the four kings than they did. Now I agree that he should have given Duran a rubber match much earlier (like a rematch with MMH and he lost against tommy in the last fight. . . which he admited), but he beat duran far and square.
