i'm not voting, because i don't care, as long as it gets made....i think realistically, 40% is fine, but he has some bargaining power on his side and can probably get 50 if they have a fast and smooth negotiation process

Mayweather-Hatton did 1.5M PPV sales, don't know how much he(Mayweather) made specifically.
    Mayweather-Marquez did 1.15M PPV sales

But those are easily both over $2M.

A nice offer would be 40%. Realistic would probably be 35%. Floyd would be well within his rights on a business sense offering 30%. He is by far the bigger draw. The plus for mosley is obvious thought. If he wins he gets a Pacman fight. Which means more cash

Mosley should ask for 50-50 purse split. Floyd has no choice coz it will make him look bad to worst ducking Pacquiao and Mosley in succession. Floyd in the corner now and he has to make this Mosley fight to save face.

I think Mosely would be prepared to take as little as 30% for this fight; he just wants to prove himself against the best whereas I can see Mayweather doing whatever he can to price Mosely out of the fight. I still can't see Mayweather fighting Mosely even if Mosely accepts to take 10%. I think Mosely deserves atleast 40-45% though.

Mosley wants this fight and he is like the old timers Hearns and Duran and Hagler. He will take a money cut to prove he is the best. Notice I did not put Leonard in that class with Hearns and Duran and Hagler because Ray always was greedy, but those 3 would have fought for less to get the acclaim. As it turned out Ray got the acclaim and the money.

Hopefully Floyd will not demand fakking 90/10 to get out of this fight.

    :good

..and if this fight breaks down in the negotiating table, Floyd will be viewed as ducking again.

Mosley can make no argument about Mayweather being the bigger draw. It is obvious that Mayweather is the bigger draw than Mosley.

He'll gladly take 40% knowing it'll probably be the most money he makes since he fought Oscar the last time.

but that's the thing. Mosley is in control here. Not Floyd. He can easily say 50/50 and Floyd would look like a ducker if he refuses.

You'd have to be ******ed to believe that Shane should get a 50/50 split. Using your logic, Shane should ask for 60%
