No. Red meat contains creatine, would be like banning b12 so you can no longer eat bananas.

    If they so wish.

I would like to think that boxers would leave nothing to chance. Hence why most serious boxers these days have nutritionists.

Loading up on creatine for one day though, would have limited effect.

Im sure many boxers, especially at the heavier weights make use of the benefits of creatibe though throughout there training.

Why would you need to take anything immediately before a fight (unless you were trying to mask something)? Aminos aren't going to help you right before a fight. How would Virgil even know what it was if he just saw a pill? That was just odd.

Maybe because he had seen the box before?

Yeah,Amino acids would have limited effects before a fight.

He may just have been trying to replensih the body after cutting weight.

Amino acids are harmless things you can buy in any health food shop. I severly doubt they can "mask" anything.

The pills in question, have been found to be legit, regualr amino acids from what ive read.

I was thinking the same thing. His body probably wouldn't have even processed the stuff by the time he got into the ring. What was the point? Unless it was something else?

I dont see how the opposing trainer made a big deal about it.

Its all mind games to distract a fighter. Who gives a **** what a fighter takes before a fight, let him take anything he wants.

I was laughing as I saw Jim Gray report on the comotion before the fight.
"The Nevada commision will perform a drug test after the fight. If Lucas took something illegal, it will show up on the doping test."

That same doping test would have been performed anyways with or without a complaint from the opposing corner.

.....and for you airheads out there who think a fighter cant take anything but water before a fight? Thats erroneous. A fighter is not supposed to injest anything but water or pedialytes during a fight, but he can drink up and even get himself drunk if he wished before his ring walk.
He can take all the supplements he wants as well before his ring walk as long as those supplements are legal and permitted by the commision.

All this commotion of "oooohhhhh, Mathysse took a pill in his dressing room is all to do about nothing.
