When you train hard all your life and some guy comes along and just has the natural ability and makes into the big time with little effort.
No kidding! I work so hard for everything and my brother barely tries and it better at everything.
i hate amateur boxing. because none of my strenghts can be used. which are 1 ability to take punches, 2. being able to push through pain and tiredness, and three i can hit people hard
Well, solar plexus shots are tough to receive.. I've never actually gone down from one but I have been dazed. Low blows sucks. At one point I had to take a knee, I received a headbutt to my solar plexus in sparring.. yes he came in very low and it hurt like hell.
Ok, Rocky. Whatever you say. Didn't you just start boxing? So how the heck would you know what your style is or what works in a fight. You're just regurgitating the same **** you've heard elsewhere trying to sound like you're experienced and know something about the ams. If you're so strong and hit so hard, you should be able to overwhelm people and give them 8 counts, which referees in the amateurs do frequently if someone gets hit hard.
I agree on both. Which is why I've had trouble rewatching my fights from this year. I know I'm better than what I did in those fights, just all the reflexes and instincts weren't knicking back in, and I wasn't getting the sparring. So yeah, not performing on the level you know you can can be highly frustrating.
:good, that **** gets me annoyed sometimes. Especially if some1 manages to hit me with a good shot. I try to anticipate where punches are going to come from, and what my opponent is going to do be4 he eveb does it. And if somehow he catches me, that definately gets me a bit upset. But i kno in boxing you get hit point blank so I just deal with it
