Old fighters fighting old fighters are just old fighters fighting.

Did PBF ever beat a HOF name fighter who was in his prime?

    (key reason PBF needs Pacman)

Agree. My point was to the TS is that there were NO available PRIME HOFer during Floyd's era to fight with. Even with those suppose "duck" opponents, their nowhere near HOF status

None. To be fair, none were available to him.

The closest would have been a Tszyu fight, but Tszyu was sidelined for like two years.

You may be trolling, but I actually agree. Floyd's never beat an ATG, and he's never beat a HOF'er in their prime. Pacquiao would really enhance Floyd's legacy.

The record should show though, Floyd called out DLH, Mosley and Tszyu for years, these guys avoided him not the other way round.

However, Floyd's resume speaks for itself, and he's an ATG and first ballot HOF'er with or without Pacman. He's the best fighter of the last 25 years, I rank him even higher than Lennox Lewis. Floyd is the GOAT at 130, and top 5 H2H at 135 and 140, the fact he's still been dominant fighting between 147-154, beating legit champions (Cotto, DLH, Baldomir, Mosley) and then guys like Marquez, Hatton and Ortiz whilst remaining undefeated is awesome. Floyd is a credit to the sport, it's a shame Bob Arum won't let Manny anywhere near Floyd :(

    What era ?

From the time he was moving up from 130 these are the people he could have fought :

    Steve Johnson
    Joel Casamayor
    Kosta Tysu
    Winky Wright
    Vernon Forrest

Were they hall of famers Tysu yes the rest no but can't tell me there weren't people for him to fight aside from Shamba Mitchel,Demracus Corely ,and Arturo Gatti ..Thats nosnesne that there was no one for him to fight during his "era" is rediculous !

Wait, the Klitschkos get a lot of flak for this same reason (no HOF fighters available to beat)

Since we cant possibly give credit to the Kbros, let's better say that Mayweather is a fraud, bum champion reigning in an utterly weak era, and that he would get murdered by any past champion half his size, from the times where color tv wasn't around :deal
