Personally, because I am a Cotto fan, I believe (if not pray) that a left to the body, or a follow-up right to the body, ends the fight. I could even see Cotto using a right hand to win, as he switches into southpaw, leaning into a punch that I think the Pacquiao camp may not expect. I am worried, though, considering Pacquiao's new and improved right-hook, which could swoop in and pass Cotto's nonexistent block - - seems to me that Cotto rarely blocks his left side anymore - - and tag Cotto's badly beaten left jaw, stunning him, send him to the ropes, and end with a follow-up left lead by Pacquiao to win. Other thoughts?
He was blind out of his left side against Clottey, FFS. What other evidence of this complete oversight is there, jackass? Anyway - if Manny takes Cotto out it's with an uppercut as Cotto resets after throwing a combination. Cotto finishes Manny with a jab then hook to the body.
Cotto's right hand. Team Pacquiao will make sure Pac circles to his left, away from Cotto's left hook, and look to utilize the right hook they did against Hatton. Only they are right in the firing line of Cotto's right hand, which is being under-rated in the lead up to this fight. I don't think it'll be a one-punch KO though, but I think an initial right hand will put Pac in trouble.
In my dream the night before the Clottey fight, Cotto made quick work of Pacman with an right uppercut out of all punches in the second round. Keep in mind i was sleeping and unconscious my conscious pick is a wicked right cross to the head mid rounds after beating up Pac's body. I am a bit nervous too as the fight gets closer, but that is just prefight jitters, normal.
Let's see, though I don't appreciate your epithet: note what happens when Cotto plays defense inside against Lovemore (also note his haircut), and I remember specifically round 4 instances of it on the outside; note round 5 against torres (and really for the most part whenever Cotto backs against the ropes post Round 2); how does Cotto block against Malignaggi 90% of fight?; in spurts against Quintana post round 2; just watch the fight against Zab; again early on in Mosley fight whenever he backsteps and later on, he does it quite often. (I won't mention Margarito because he was cut there too - - and I am not familiar with his other fights off the top of my head)

. . . and certainly we have seen Pacquiao suffer through crushing body shots before, even in the short time spent with Ricky Hatton. If only someone could, Cotto perhaps, maximize output of these apparently harmful punches.
