I think that Mosley takes away Floyd's left hook lead and check hook. Shane fought 24 rounds with Oscar and only took a handful of big left hands and he is defensively sound against that punch because of all the Mexican's he took on in the gym as a kid.

I think Floyd will be working the jab up and down and looking to work straight right hands. Shane is far more open to the jab and right hand.

Any thoughts on Floyd tactics or even Shane's?

Yeah he's lethal with it! I think Shane is in deep **** on the end of that shot!

I hope I'm wrong though! I would love Mosley to pull this off!

Floyd's gonna use a lot of movement with his punches, jab back out come in again, straight right duck under and roll etc. Hopefully we see some more combinations from him, but his best one punch in this fight will be the straigh right. Mosley's gonna be eating a lot of those.

Serves him right if he tries to clinch.

hmmm, the more i think about this fight, the more i will find it harder to dominate shane which was my initial thought.

reason being is that, shane has a great right hand with a great hook to the body.

shane will look to land his right hand as well. so buy saying that floyds right hand will zero in on shane is to say that he will win the batte of the right hands, when shane has toppled people with his right. Floyd has to be really really crafted to land rights off the line, i dont see it.
Shanes right is not as linear as floyds but his looping right comes from all angles and its like a heat sinking missile.

I think floyd will strategiclly win the fight using the angles - floyd wins the fight with his most important punch being the jab off the back foot.

Floyd: jab jab, right straight, back up, jab

Mosley: hook to the body, clinch, right hook,

I think Mosley gets too frustrated to Floyd's movements and defense, Floyd sees this opportunity and boxes all the way to a UD. I don't see Floyd knocking out old Shane tho...

i hope it wont be looping...floyd sees these type of shots all day!

and im not down playing Mosley's right but who do you think will pull the trigger first most often..specially seeing as how Floyd's str8 right is the better of the two...and he will be luring Mosley in with lots of traps...Floyd sets these str8 rights up to PERFECTION...coupled with bad head and shoulders movement by Mosley....this could be a long night.

The straight right and that jumping in left hook he uses.
