Decebal - why on earth do you want Bute to fight Kessler???

Kessler is BAD for Bute within the next two years!:bart

Calzaghe was un motivated for that fight and Salem is a nobody. How many years in between the Calzaghe Salem fight and the But Salem fight. You may find that Salem was shot by the time he fought Bute!

Oooh, so now YOU don't wanna see Mundine vs Bute before Mundine's speed decreases? :D

Mundine vs Kessler 2 (who beats both Bute and Froch) once all is said and done, then? :bart

On second thoughts I agree with your view of a Bute Green fight. However, how many world class fighter has But defeated? He is a bit overated at the moment and needs to step it up.

Why wouldn't I? I wanted to see Kessler fight Calzaghe even though I was sure he couldn't win, and you know I am a Kessler fan. Bute should be ready to give Kessler a good fight next year; he said so himself. May the best man win. Nothing wrong with coming second best to someone like Kessler! Bute needs to fight the best once he is good enough, just like Kessler did, in Calzaghe, even if he cannot win. Daring to be great and all that...:good

Last time I read the rules, it was as I said, unless I misread. :good

No no no. Decebal old chap.

I want to see Froch get brutally owned.

Kessler is my man to do it, :D. Bute would win but I dont want to see that as much.

    :good

I wonder why I dislike Froch so much, :huh.

I mean I dont realy dislike other fighters who mouth off who are of a similar ability level.

But Froch bugs the crap out me .

OK - Im a Kessler fan and I wanted Kessler to fight Joe because I thought Kessler could outjab and hurt Joe, which he obviously couldnt.

Bute CANT beat Kessler before Bute immensely improves his defence!
Even if the fight is in Montreal and Bute gets all the judges on his side, he cant win a points decision against Kessler.

You are brave and, come to think of it, probably a bigger fan of the sport than a fan of Bute:good

Is there anybody out there that can confirm which rule is right, without either of us having to go re-read them?

If the champ vacates a title, is a mandatory GIVEN the vacant WBC belt, or is he still required to fight the next available contendor for the VACANT wbc belt?

And remember, in this case, the mandatory is NOT the interim champ. Just the no. 1 contendor....

No...I just think losing is no big deal, if you can come back stronger. The most important thing is not to finish your career with an "0" but to fight the best you can, win or lose. This is how you become truly great. :good

Look at Mikkel...he went up in many people's esteem after the Calzaghe fight. I had him p4p no 18 or so before the fight and now I have him no 12 or so...he proved how good he was in that fight for me, like never before.
