Natural weight has nothing to do with the outcome of the fight ... i'm pretty sure that outside the ring alot of fighters that B-Hop beat weighed more than him. All that means is that they have to cut alot of weight during training. That doesn't give them any hidden advantages ... Hatton is what 170-180 lbs outside the ring ... which is clearly alot more than PBF weighs outside the ring - yet he got knocked out. :hi:
Cause Calzaghe's never been hit at 175, because Hopkins is a master counter-puncher, because when Calzaghe throws combinations he leaves himself exposed, and because when Calzaghe feels he's in charge of a fight he gets cocky and leaves himself further exposed. I said I wouldn't be surprised at a ko. I didn't say it would happen.
Calzaghe will stop BHop after he's laid out counting the lights in the ceiling. Then BHop will stop. :bbb
id say it would take joe 16 to stop hopkins maybe longer, bhop would have to take alot of clean punches to get stoped.takin clean punches and hopkins just dont go together. hes proven that :good
cant see a KO in this fight from either man. i understand why Joe is the favorite, but writing off BHOP is pure nuts.
Hopkins got a better chance of knocking out Calzaghe, than Calzaghe knocking out Hopkins. It takes more than a flury of slaps to put a legend like Hopkins down, this one's going the distance, I really cant see it going any other way.
remember this ... Hopkins will smother Calzaghe's punches and often clinch. Headbutts, elbows, lowblows, will take alot of energy from Calzaghe. Hopkins will hold and hit ... he will do whatever it takes to win ... we can't say the same thing for Calzaghe ... he's never been in that situation.
