I worry about headbutts but BHop relies too much on psyching his opponents

Hopkins will make the fight a close up fight ... I don't see Calzaghe overwhelming Hopkins.

I see Hopkins throwing alot of rights and holding Calzaghe after the follow through ... Hopkins won't win a jabbing contest but Hopkins doesn't jab much.

I see Hopkins clinching and getting alot work in during the clinch ...

A UD or SD would favor Hopkins...it's in the USA..
I didn't think Magic man won his last...I called it a draw, but in NY, how could Paulie lose a close one??

The thread is about how Calzaghe will stop Nard. Furthermore, the last guy Hopkins stopped was a JMW, who already had won a title at MW before facing Hopkins.:good

They were C class SM's, that most never even heard of, any top 10 SM could do that. Calzaghe's power is just average, name one good fighter Calzaghe knocked out, I could name a few that Hopkins knocked out.

Cazlaghe doesn't Ko any HOF, this is the 1st time Calzaghi has fought at this level. It also shows what an over hyped career he has had that he now chooses to fight his 1st p4p fighter at the age of 43.

Hes lucky he had F.Warren as his promoter hes even luckier that an average guy like Kessler was his best contender.

Not exactly a Marquez Paqman quality rivalry is it?

Name a guy as big or bigger than him that he has knocked out......

Just for the record Calzaghe knocked down Eubank in his first title win.....

Calzaghe also stopped Woodhall who was a big SM and former WBC champ, he stopped Sheika.....who was all Hype as per usual.....Mitchell was a good fighter, never been stopped and he got destroyed.....

Hang on....Hopkins KO'd De La Hoya so he must be a huge puncher lol....jsut imagine Cazlaghe fighting a guy who faught at lightweight hahhaah

Does Carl Daniels class as one of these superstars that he stopped??? Or maybe that worldbeater Simon brown

The truth is he hasnt knocked out a guy that walks around at 14 stone such as Calzaghe.....

Hopkins wanted nothing to do with Calzaghe 6 years ago when he agreed to fight, realised he would lose and doubled his demands knowing they couldnt be met.....

And as for hype??? Name all these stellar stars Hopkins beat during his 20 defenses?? Oscar and Tito are NOT middleweights..Joe is a big super middle who even Kessler couldnt stop

Calzaghe will win by UD. Hopkins will not get stopped even if he should be.

Calzaghe is naturally heavier and Hopkins is slightly taller......so long as Joe has his stmina in check then the speed will always be there...if Hopkins was such a legend he wouldnt have to bend the rules and cheat to beat this so called hype job slappy non punching loser, dont you think?

Hopkins knocked out Glen Johnson, the same guy your boy Calzaghe backed out of fighting 2 times. I could name a couple more, but you will just say there not natural Middleweights so I wont bother. The truth of the matter is, Calzaghe fought mostly C+ SM's for the majority of his career defending the weak WBO belt for the better part of a decade, 97-06, he beat noone worth mentioning, and certainly never knocked out a hall of famer or great like Hopkins did.

That's cos you know yourself the only other names other than Glen Johnson that he beat were two small guys who had no business being in the ring with a MW!! And by the way the fighters make the belt not the other way around.....

By the way Glen Johnson lost to Clinton Woods....does that mean if Woods beats two small guys he becomes a legend too??

I'd certainly say beating Chris Eubank in your first ever 12 round fight is worth mentioning......

Or do you have to run from Howard Eastman for 12 rounds to cement your legacy??
