This will have huge say in this fight. If Jay Nady is given this fight Hatton's gameplan will be severly compromised and the odds swing even more in Mayweather's favour (80:20). If commonsense prevails and someone like Robert Byrd or Raul Caiz is given the fight then 60:40 in Floyd's favour. How does everybody else (please no Floyd fanboy fanatics) see the influence of the ref in determining hatton's possibilities? Is the assignment of the ref purely down to the sanctioning bodies?

Id have Mickey Vann personally, or Steve Smoger, I think they will let ricky get inside and stay there more than most, as for Nady, he must be the worst big fight ref out there at the moment, so I ****ing hope he isnt the appointed ref!

I would settle for Ray Hatton myself.

I know how Nady could totally ruin this fight. With which of those other two does Hatton have the best possibilities of executing his 'in-game'?

 Good call. I will say Billy Graham as the ref and the three judges are Ray Hatton, Matthew Hatton and Denis Hobson.

:yep Sounds good to me, I reckon Billy might land a few of his own whiles he's in there too:lol: Seriously though,, if Nady is the ref, I will personally finance a "friend" to visit him so hes unable to fulfill his ref duties that night!!!! He is inept, stupid, blind.......I could go on, If its out of those 3 listed, bring me J. Cortez, hes probably the most reliable

If hattons game plan is the illegally hold floyds arms and hit with the other then you mutts are basically saying he has to cheat to win. Hatton does not IN-fight. In IN-fighting hands are free. Floyd would kick his ass in true in-fighting. If you want to see in-fighting. Watch a James Toney fight. Or Castillo-Corrales 1. No holding no bull**** pure in-fighting.

Im simply saying that I dont want a ref that breaks the fighters as soon as they get close, Im not saying Ricky is some sort of infighting monster, just let the fight play out, dont disturb the action too much!

    What's your opinion of Hopkin's 'in-fighting' game?

I quite enjoyed the in fighting in the Tsyzu and Castillo fights...

Cortez would be a good choice imo, I'm sure De La Hoya will get him...
