Alot of those early rounds were so uneventful with so little being scored that its easy to see how a judge would score it to the aggressor.....

I myself had DLH only up a point or two after 9 rounds, and gave Trinidad the final 4 rounds and the fight.

.....and I'm being truthful here as I was around back then when it happened.......the media was split on who actualy won that fight......and those that had Trinidad winning were of the opinion that DLH deserved to lose the fight for shamelessly outright turning his back almost and running from Tito.

.....there were even journalist who scored for DLH but were saying they could'nt point the finger at bad scoring because DLH brought it at himself by not even attempting to win the last several rounds.

Just pointing out facts here my friend.

I think your lawnmower comment is quite racist and so it is my business. You are mad just because you cant back up your claims. Anybody who disagrees with you is full of sh**. I am sorry I don't tolerate racism so if you continue to make posts like this I will call you out on your ignorant racist comments.

Your comment is typical of someone who lost a debate and was made to look like a fool. I see you are continuing the trend.

Have you ever contributed anything other than stroking Pac you racist ****? Honestly you are up there with Charlie Z and AngloSaxon as one of the biggest arseholes on this forum.

Before you start accusing me of being a Floyd nuthugger, let me say that I would love to see Pac whoop Floyd. However I don't think theres anyone on ESB who swings from a fighters dick more than you. It can be a thread about ****ing anything and theres a good chance you'll be in there managing to relate it to Pac somehow.

Are you trying to insuate that i wasnt around a fan back then:patsch now who you are talking to Divac ive been a fan many years before these 2 were fighting in kiddie tournaments? The media was not split either most had Oscar winning. Oscar didnt lose the last 4 watch it again he clearly won the 9th that s a myth thrown alot by people, I dont feel you are pointing out any facts seen the fight a zillion times and it was a flat out robbery. Wasnt even close. I cant see even a self admitted Oscar hater like your self seeing it any other way.

DLH certainly did'nt win the first 8 or 9 rounds as alot of his supporters like to claim......there were to many uneventful rounds there where neither fighter did absolutely nothing.......

In a round where there is'nt any significant punches being thrown, I, like how the judge usually like to do, give those rounds to the aggressor.

There were rounds in that fight where DLH landed a good 2 or 3 punch combination early, and then he'd go into a shell the rest of the round trying to protect having landed that combination.......in the meantime, Tito being the aggressor would land the occasional punch here and there throughout the rest the round, and bank the round on my scorecard as well as the official scorecard.

Admit to yourself the truth ........DLH fought scared that night.......he fought not to lose, instead of fighting to win.

I've always said, thank God the judges had Trinidad winning that fight, because in not doing so, it would have encouraged alot more up and comers to fight stinkers like that.

Toney-Peter I. Toney was in line for a title-shot, he didn't even have to take that fight...

Holyfield-Valuev. In itself, this is far from being the worst robbery ever. In fact it was a close fight, I had Holyfield up by 1 round. At the same time, it is hard for me to see how anyone can score it for Valuev, since he was so inactive. What really bugs me here is that a 46year old legend travels across the pond to fight a much bigger man who is considered a legitimate beltholder, and literally nobody gave him a chance. Only he himself believed in his dream. Then against all odds old Holyfield does enough to win - but the judges can't get the scoring right... Holyfield could've been the first 5-time 'champ' ever, and the oldest one, it could have been a magical night for us boxing fans, and for boxing in itself, but no... Valuev gets a 'hometown'-decision, and he isn't even very popular in Germany (or Switzerland for that matter). Worst thing is, since Holyfield proved he can still compete at the very top, he now continues his quest to become the first 5-time 'champ' ever while he should have retired a long time ago.

Oscar was up by 1 pt after 9 rounds and you gave Tito the final 4 rounds.

9+4 =13 your math does not add up

I bet on Tito for that fight and I thought I had lost. When the fight ended I felt like I had lost my money. When the decision came out I was a bit shocked as I thought Oscar had won at least 7 rounds.

In fairness the fight was not even a draw. Oscar should have won but the loss in no way broke my heart as I was an Oscar hater at the time.

I agree that Oscar fought a careful fight near the end and should have taken more of a chance near the end not so much to win the fight as it would have been the Mexican thing to do. Barrera in his last round with Hamed took it to him to humiliate him and show him that he fully defeated him. Morales did the same to Pac in the first fight went southpaw for no reason.

That is why I hated Oscar he was too careful...in the Vargas fight he earned my respect though as Vargas put the hurt on him.

Fenech v Nelson 1 - blind freddy knew Azumah got beat in that one.
Oscar v Tito - still makes me laugh how people can still give any of the 1st 8 rds to tito who landed nothing. 8-4 rds = Oscar win.
Hearns v Leonard 2 - 2 kd's for Tommy & still gets a draw - oh thats right its Leonard
Whittaker v Chavez - still can't work out the 6 rds that chavez supposebly won to get the draw.
Oscar v Shabe 2 - yeah close but I still had Oscar winning 7-5 rds.
