Agree^^^ Wlad getting beaten again is not a certainty as many seem to think he gave a good performance in the first fight and this time he can make an effort to capitalize when he has Joshua hurt- and we have seen he has the power to hurt and drop Joshua with -one- shot Joshua was dropped and hurt- and as you said, he was still drunk for two rounds after that kd. Wlad still has a decent chance in the potential rematch- maybe not 50-50 but close to it, given his power and determination
Yes, the rematch is about 50/50, both fighters can hurt each other......................Vlad almost knocked Joshua out, damned good fight, we don't get to see heavyweight fights that exciting anymore..............remember Foreman/Lyle?
Wlad doesn't have much time left in the sport. If I've if his left hook landed in the rematch in might end Joshua career instead.
end career is a bit sharp. wlad might go defend the Ukranian title for a bit. The fight will pan out same as first one, older guys lands some canny shots using his experience and younger guys caution...until he gasses and gets taken out mid to late. It'd be a farce anyway. No point in putting a man into a 12 round fight if he hasnt got the lungs for that duration anymore.
lol he could have stopped him in the fifth? he tried and was almost KO'd. and he didnt just gas out, he was hit with some hooks that took away his legs
Wlad, IMO, was slightly better than Joshua in the first fight, despite the loss. But Joshua learned more in that fight than in all his previous pro fights combined, on every aspect of the game. If there's a rematch, Wlad will be older and Joshua will be better. I can only see one outcome, here. Joshua should take it earlier than the first time around.
