Now that it’s announced what round does Joshua end this fight? I’m going for round 4 and sending out a real statement.
You guys are misinformed if you think Parker is massively undersized against AJ. JP is 6'4", 240lbs. And unlike AJ he is not overloaded with muscle and has a better gas tank. If he loses it's not going to be because he was too small. People are being misled because idiot Bellew kept harping on about how Parker is his size when he is clearly not since Parker has 40lbs on Bellew at the same level of bodyfat. Parker will handle the physicality aspect, if he can't handle the power then Joshua simply hits harder than we all thought. I think it goes distance but will probably put a small stake on JP KO if the bookies really think he has no chance.
He’s never fought a puncher. He’s got feather fists Debatedly lost against Ruiz and Fury. Struggled against Takam winning by the odd round or two. Takam if you’re being generous got one round against AJ. I don’t think he’s much if any better than Molina and I certainly have Breazale ahead of him.
Ruiz was a draw for me and yeah I had Fury up on the cards too but styles make fights and Joshua's style is probably better for Parker than those two. He's way better than Molina. I don't think Parker is that good but if he wins here it will be because he could take Joshua's punches and then beat a gassed out AJ late - that's not an impossible outcome here for me. Anyway I was making the point about size. See too many people saying he is too small here. Like I said I don't agree with that at all.
Also Joshua has fought one puncher in the pros and was put on his arse and as most would agree should have been finished, but Wlad couldn't do it for whatever reason.
Come orf it mate The Ruiz fight was decent but Parker won it. As for Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury - he ran away all night throwing absolutely nothing and lost every round. The Skirt will never have a better chance but had no balls under the skirt on the night.
You’re right about the styles and that’s why I think it’s a banker for AJ. Parker isn’t the type of fighter that’s going to cause him problems. He’s just a plodding pudding who doesn’t hit very hard. He’s just going to be a moving punch bag for the little duration of a contest. I was trying to make my point that I weren’t judging Parker on size.
Ruiz was debatable and could have went either way. As for Hughie, I had Fury up that night as did a lot of others. I was genuinely shocked when Parker got the decision.
Anyone knows this should be an easy fight for AJ I think Parker is above average but I’d say even Whyte would beat Parker so no shocks for me here and good business for AJ to get another one of those belts. I like Parker’s attitude though he seems a good lad so happy he’s now gonna make millions.
Another PPV fight no doubt billed by Hearn and Sky as a 50/50 fight even though this is another predictable outcome with Joshua 1/10 odds on at best.
LOL How the hell is Breazeale ahead of him? Parker isn't great but he is capable enough and head and shoulders above fighters like Whyte, who himself has feather fists yet wobbled AJ.
