I think when Canelo manages to land clean he is a big puncher. Who gets to his level who can't punch, bearing in mind he is no Willie Pep? So I am worried for Amir, I can't see how he can take a good shot from Canelo. But I am praying he can dance the night away on Saturday.

Inside the first 4 rounds I think. Khan seems to be going to try and base his tactics on how Mayweather beat Canelo, but he's nowhere near elusive enough. Would love to be wrong though, WAR KHAN.

Hope Canelo delivers justice for the poor man that Khan ran over (no doubt deliberatly) who later died a broken man due to Khan's heinous motor vehicle terrorism.

    Khan chin is poor.
Is fighting heart and willingness to get up after being decked are world class

Cant see him not tiring once Canelos strength and power begin to tell and when Khan tires he makes mistakes.

I reckon he might nick the opening rounds start fast use his feet etc. But he isnt elusive Hunter has him holding ground, chin down hands up ride combinations if he has to then get out of harms way. Floyd was a master counter puncher he didn't use his feet so much but he would swivel and counter with clean hard shots all night and then would change his look, high guard, shell defence, lead with a jab to body or head or straight right.

Khans look will be the same all night so that wont confuse Canelo at all, hes not much of a counter puncher and he doesn't have the power to hurt Canelo and theres no telling the toll Khans own higher weight will have on his speed.

    Canelo in 7

I think people are over estimating Canelo's power...

    Really ?

Khan was shaken several times at 147 by Algieri !!!

Canelo isn't a murderous puncher, but he doesn't need to be to get Khan out of there.

When Canelo lands clean on Saturday evening, you will see how overrated Canelo's power is.

This is what I don't understand, I've seen in many times recently on this forum people saying that Khan won't get knocked out because Canelo's power is overrated. Well no **** it's overrated, but it's still more than enough to KO Glass Jaw Khan! Limmond and Drizane could, but Canelo can't? :rofl:patsch:nut:smoke

People aren't even overrating alvarezs power anyway; it's just a straw the Khan fanboys are clutching on to.

It's not so much about Khan not being as elusive as Mayweather, it's why he's not as elusive as Mayweather and the limitations that lead to him being open to hit and wear down.

He fights at one pace, and his movement is one-dimensional. Mayweather can slow down a fight, speed it up, he can stay in the pocket and slug, and then disappear and go on the retreat for a minute or so. He can throw single shots with setting his feet. All these things Khan cannot do.

All this this means Canelo will able to get into a rhythm against Khan that he wasn't allowed to against Mayweather. This will lead to him gradually picking up ahead of steam as the rounds go on, and Khan doesn't have the wrinkles to offset that or the power to stop once it's about to run him over.
