I say in the 3rd round Crawford will KO Horn in a one sided beat down. Horn doesn't have the chin to last longer than 3 rounds. Thoughts?
Thoughts? Who the hell knows how well Crawford's average power will carry up to Welterweight against a Light Middle. Horn might walk right through him and batter him from one side of the ring to the other. Crawford's power lies in his accuracy and speed more so than it being pure and raw, well guess who else has power comes from accuracy and speed, the guy that Horn just mauled. Horn will be the toughest fight of Crawford's career, Crawford may be the one not seeing the final bell here.
I respect your knowledge but you are way off here pal. Crawford is going to hurt Horn badly and it's going to happen early. Pac started slow and looked slow against Horn but still managed to beat the dog **** out of Horn in round 9. Crawford wont wait he will get to Horn early with accurate shots and he will expose Horn's glass jaw.
I would agree with you whole heartedly, but Pac was nowhere near his prime. Can you honestly say Horn defeats the Pac that pummeled Margarito from piller to post? Crawford on the other hand is well into his prime and can box very well. The question is, like you memtioned, will Crawdaddy's power be as effective at welter? We will find out on fight night.
So you're basing this on one round with your fingers crossed. That might turn out as well as my, well Derek Edwards KO'd Jack, surely Dirrell will, surely Groves will, surely DeGale will, surely.... ah ****.
Crawford will cruise to a decision win which at 7/4 sounds like a bet to me. My only worry is Horn getting pulled by his corner if he's far behind on the cards and taking punishment. Horn is a big welter and should prove far more durable than any previous opponent of Crawford.
Crawford around 8. Horn is a tough guy, just not really a good boxer. If you watch his last fight he doesn't even know how to throw combinations. Throw a jab...of balance with the right. Throw a hook...off-balance with the uppercut. He's going to be too tough for his own good like Joe Smith.
Not just the one round that 38 year old Pac who hasn't KO'd anybody in almost a decade. An ancient Randall Bailey hurt Horn badly. Some of Horn's fights on the Joe Parker under cards he was getting tagged frequently by bums even Cocoran had no trouble finding the target.
