He was never fighting him at any stage.

    We both know this.

It doesn’t matter if GGG had’ve brought in huge money.

It was never going to happen.

But Floyd couldn’t keep his mouth shut could he.

“GGG is straight up and down, easy work”

Yeah, well he obviously didn’t believe that, as GGG would still have brought in some good PPV, and it would have been a legacy fight in a further division.

Yet we got Berto and an MMA fighter instead, in order to get to 50-0.

Pimp, you can’t keep saying 3G didn’t chase greatness simply because he didn’t move up in weight. Moving up was NEVER the criteria for greatness. Most guys move up because they simply can’t make weight. Haney didn’t move up for greatness, he moved up not being able to make 135 comfortably.

But you use Haney being undisputed as some measure of greatness, while 3G was NOT undisputed, he was trying to collect all the belts in his division. You can’t have it both ways just because it suits you.

He didn't need ggg what else did he need to prove he just dominated pac, pbf was old and faded.

He spoke the truth about ggg he told no lies. Ggg is the exact type of guy who he would box circles around.

Why isn't ggg being called out for not facing ward? That fight was never gonna happen because ggg never took a risk in his life.

People move up for various reasons. Some move up because they outgrow the division some move up because they've done everything at the weight some move up for bigger fights and money. The problem with ggg is back then the weight class was weak he had a trash resume and after saying anyone from 168-154 can get it and showing interest in Chavez Jr and froch when ward answered the call he changed the rules. Win lose or draw had ggg took ward up on his offer he would've enhanced his legacy but he didn't.

You don’t think winning the MW World title would be a huge feat for Floyd?? That would have been a major accomplishment.

And we’ve all been through this crap w/ Ward a million times. Why do you keep brining him up in non-ward related threads? And again, when would that fight have been made? When Ward was out for about two years, he came back at LtHW. Said he could not make 168 anymore. So did Ward move up for “greatness” or just because he could not make weight??

The fight at 164 when Ward was still active was him trying to meet in the middle. Ward said no. When they brought them together, 3G said yes, Ward again said No, citing his injury.

    So…..???

MOST move up for not able to make weight Pimp. we've been through this a million time. Froch and chavez were simply money fights. BOTH guys brought more money to the table then Ward. And 3G always insisted, we was trying to unify 160 (You know, chasing greatness like it make Hnaey great in your opinion??) . Froch and Chavez jr would have been one time fights while then moving back down to 160.

There's no shame in Floyd losing to GGG. No 18-20lb lighter fighter in history is taking GGG's power, unless they're as wide as they are tall with a head and neck the size of a car park and even then there's next to no chance of them doing so.

GGG's power is ridiculous. He's the same size as an awful lot of LMWs but he doesn't hit very hard for a MW he hits crazy hard for one. And he has crazy power in both hands, head and body, hooks, crosses, uppercuts, jabs.

Froch was a very spiteful puncher but it took him about 20 flush bombs to get Bute out of there

Stevie ''Jelly'' Rolls might be D level but he has only been stopped once. Berlangy's power might not be quite what it's cracked up to be but he still punches very hard and he couldn't get Rolls out of there nor could Ammo Williams. GGG sent Rolls to the shadow realm

This is the pre-Sanchez young GGG. My favourite version of GGG

I could spend the next 30 minutes posting his KOs but I'll just post videos and quotes of fighters who've actually felt his power or seen it up close and personal in the gym instead

'Ola Afolabi said to Sky Ringside “I think it’s going to be a knockout. The guy [Golovkin] hits incredibly hard. I’ve been in the ring with heavyweights, cruiserweights, light heavyweights, and I get in the ring with this kid and every time he hits me, I say whoa!''

Ryan Coyne (former CW now LHW)

''He’s a ****** beast,” said Coyne, a 20-0 cruiserweight prospect who has recently dropped down to light heavyweight. “He’s been running guys out of here. Nobody under 175 pounds will spar with him.''

“I’ve sparred with heavyweights who can punch, including Mariusz Wach and Mike Perez, nobody has hit me as hard as Golovkin. His power is out of this world.”

''I spent my summer up in Big Bear training with Gennady Golovkin who is emerging as the most murderous puncher in the boxing. I watched former champions, light heavies, cruisers, and even heavies get sent home.''

    David Imoesiri HW

“The dude can hit, I’m still getting used to it,” said Imoesiri, who like Coyne, is delightfully bright and articulate. “It’s crazy. I sparred with [undefeated WBA heavyweight beltholder] Alexander Povetkin and he never hurt me like this guy.''

“I must have done 50 rounds while in camp with Povetkin and it was three and half weeks before he hit me with something that made me hold on. With Golovkin I was ready to get out of the ring 45 seconds into our first round of sparring. He hit me with two lefts to the body in the identical spot and had me doubled over. I got through it but it’s hard to defend against 6-inch punches with that much pop. He backs me into a corner with just a jab.

“And it seems like he does it effortlessly.”

''The guy hits like a hammer. I tried everything, but it did not work. You have to give him credit, because he had a good handle on the situation and it was an honor to meet him in the ring. Even though I lost every round, I wanted to fight on. [Early on] it seemed to me that I was resistant to punches, but eventually they caught up with me. For each subsequent start, I went out out with another plan, trying to surprise him, but he is really great," Proksa said.

"I have never felt that type of power anywhere, not in sparring or anywhere."

    --Grzegorz Proksa

In that sense, that's true. Most people recognize the fanatics and diehards are just way off base.

GGG wouldnt breeze past other ATGs but he belongs in that MW circle. Still an ATG himself but not untouchable (obviously) like some of his folk pretend
