    The sixth for me.

Calzaghe took Lacy's soul that night.

I respect Lacy's heart for continuing but I pity him as well for the beating he took and the condition that beating has left him in.

    Great thread

Puts into perspective all the fans who call boxers cowards for pulling out of fights they have no chance of winning

Lacy proved his heart to the fans, and was ruined in the process

Dan Birmingham's credibility has never recovered from that night. He should have pulled Lacy out after round 8-9 but left him to take a beating. Lacy might have come back but Birmingham made sure it would never happen.

Will you guys STFU:patsch............That was NOT a career ending win or something, just a shutout.....geez

IF Birmingham pulls him out, now you're saying he QUIT ala Cotto.....
Calzaghe put on a good performance that night, and for his meager fans this makes him top 10 p4p of ALL TIMES (Ali voice).......****ing dickheads:-(

That wasn't a shutout.... that was a humiliating beating that took everything away from Lacy other than his legs

7th was TOO brutal, definitely the 7th for me, Lacy looked like he was ready to get TKO'd there.

I remember the 9th being horrific, with lacy out on his feet, and the british commentator yelling it was going to get stopped anytime.

It wasn't a just beating, it wasn't a schooling, it was a lacying: a pure, merciless, brutal demolishing of sustained epic proportions.

Some people need to refresh their memories

One of the single worst posts in ESB history. You have literally no idea what you are talking about.
