"Starting"? After all the Wlad ko1> Ali and similar threads that have been going on for years, after threads that last for 1,000,000 pages about Lewis having razor-sharp hair?

the tyson of holyfields beat 80's tyson . a tyson with no head movement , threw one punch at a time no jab . you woyld find any boxing trainer who would agree with you friend . to make matters worse you think a fat drugged out tyson who fought lewis beats 80's tyson . whats next the tyson who lost to mcbride beats the tyson who beat berbick .any credibility as a boxing analyst has gone up in smoke .

    Thank you.
Cus D'Amato was Mike Tyson's rock. Mike would be dead or in prison if it wasnt for Cus. That said Cus never taught Tyson how to be a man and to make sound decisions. From watching documentaries it seems Cus always treated Mike special. Getting him out of trouble and allowing him to treat woman like ****. So Tyson was doomed from the beginning. Its a tragic story mikes life.

ok it wasn't robbin givens fault can we all agree?
ya'll need to let go of the notion that mike fell out of shape before the douglas fight and could never recover. everything is platitudes. at least look with a dicerning eye at the mike who weigh'd in for the first hollyfield fight. this guy had only one loss on his entire professional record. we're talking he lost to douglas in 1990 we're talking november 96. why do you think he lost to douglas. because he fell out of shape so what did he do to prepare for his fight with hollyfield? who weigh'd in for that fight? i'll tell you who. a 222pound boss. you watch the first two rounds of that match and try to tell me mike didn't have head movement? and i'll show you a liar faster than you can say jack robinson.
you think going to jail messed mike up? i'm telling you right now there are active fighters who've been to prison who you think are great. not to debate the effect of prison on boxers but even if it's worst case...

even in worst case it's not what you know but who, right? so who of help was going to make mike's aquaintace while he was serving in compared to out? hard to know how much to blame jail if you really insist on blaming. was prison preventing mike from reuniting with kevin rooney? hollyfield kept headbutting. he did it to mike for two straight fights. you still haven't said how rooney was going to help.
he was gonna make him train harder. tyson walked into that first hollyfield fight penetentary hard. 222? gimme a break. you gonna tell me mike abandond his peekaboo style for that fight. that's whooie. he brought it into every match. look at the tape and there it is. gloves under his chin, elbows tucked. first two rounds he's moving at the waiste side to side like he literally didn't know what else to do.
sure we're talking 96. sure he lost to douglas but that was years ago in 90 when mike wasn't in shape. he had knuckle head corner men in that fight but by 96 that was all behind him. cont

you think mike didn't work to get that straight? bet your ass mikes corner had enswell in 96. he was max out condition going into that first hollyfield fight. he wasn't going to let the problems he had with douglas replay. he didn't realise evander was going to open up a whole new set of problems for him. not least of which hollyfield was a headbutting cheater.
gotta go now talj more later.

okay crew i'll keep the floor. to the noob that started this thread go for it this thread is on testosterone to celtic what do you think i have to check to see if a trainer agrees with me before i can collect my bet winnings? don't be so naive to the folks complaining esb is going downhill with this thread you still jumping on it and what would you preffer. oh lemme gues. the is cotto an atg thread. no wait i know whats your speed youre looking real highbrow. the marquez must be super focused on boxing at least he ain't got money on his mind like maywether does. i mean marquez certainly ain't looking too closely to pick up any endorsement deals. man's drinking his own ****. thread.
we could sit around and talk about how doubtful marquez could ever pitch for a major softdrink company. or rellay the story of how when a tecate add executive saw the 24/7 episode he watched the screen and said "what the f#!%"
so now let's see who's still reading with anything to say.

The Punch that Lewis Ko'ed Tyson is what ruined him, prison preserved him and prolonged his career.

Prior to that he had made a name beating up past it Ameri-Cans.

    What Ruined Tysons career -

Not having discipline love and respect in his life. It is actually a miracle he won a belt.
All the ability in the world counts for nothing if your treated like a dog and given no direction in life. If I had the same upbringing as him I'd be in jail and I don't think I'd have achieved anything else.
