I feel Ruiz is too heavy at 282 to beat AJ because it looks like he might not have trained as hard, but what`s the heavyiest a fighter could be and still be quick enough and have enough fitness to win the heavyweight crown?

Depends on body structure and height , because there is no limit in the division.

Trust me, Ruiz NEVER trains hard to get in shape. He's 6'0 and was 265 last time. That is ridiculous. He doesn't train at all.

What he probably does do is spar. He might like sparring and enjoy it so his skills will be there. Maybe he trained hard in that sense.

Road work is boring as **** and hard, and Ruiz is lazy as hell.

Valuev was 400lbs and a champ. That soviet was also gifted the Holyfield fight when Evander was 10 years past his prime and still beat him fair and square.

    That is all false.
The trivial error is Ruiz was 268 last time.
More importantly, it is easy to confirm that he trains, & hard.
Is your evidence that Ruiz is lazy just that he is fat?
That is very misguided-he has succeeded fat, & not tried to lose weight.
Was old Foreman lazy? Some people are also naturally fat & resistant to losing weight.

Valuev weighed a max in the 330's.
Butterbean at his heaviest reached 400 lbs.

Since humans have been gaining size & weight for the past thousand or so years...who knows maybe in the year 2135 they will laugh that any HW champ could be under 7'5 400lbs.

We do know that the Tutsi, Dunka & Watussi Tribes had warriors that stood about 6'10 to 7+ feet. Not indivisduals, but a common sight for many in these tribes..interesting that their geography was home to animals like goats, where they had access to calcium-milk unlike their brethren on the opposite side that had no land to feed such animals, they today are called pygmies...even though they have names for themselves like Bantu to Bushongo.

No there`s a certain height and size that cannot fight anymore because they are too heavy and clumsy, I`d say Valuev is the limit.

Foreman was completely out of shape during his comeback aside from having strong arms. I think al he did was punchj a heavybag all day long, he certainly didn`t do roadwork or sit-ups.
