What says Burley was greater/better than Herol Graham?

    Where as old timers lose fights and it means nothing and the line is 'ofcourse he's going to lose some, he fights so often'. Archie Moore getting KO'd 7 times, Burley picking up 12 losses, Greb losing to a WW and many of the best he faced

    Bottom line they have more opportunity to prove themselves and more opportunity to lose. Obviously there's a balance to be taken, but it's only rational to take that a top fighter of an era will have more wins over top contenders if he fights more and more losses too. If the best fighter of an era fights every contender in that era numerous times he should generally win most of the fights but have a few upsets
