Does anybody know? When Mayweather was p4p #1, did Hatton demand 50% for their fight?

    Yep. 70-30.

But as Blue said, Hatton kept all 1.3 milliion PPV buys in the UK. That's £20 million pounds along.

Floyd was really the only fighter out there for Hatton though. 70/30 tells me little to no negotiation on his part. He just wanted the fight.

Now though he has plenty of fights available, winner of JMM-Diaz, Cotto, Bradley/Holt winner etc. Not to mention he's a bigger draw since the Mayweather fight.

Aw? Is this because Hatton ****ed over your *** fighter Paulie?

Hatton definately deserved more than the 30% he got. How many Floyd fans were there in Vegas compared to Ricky fans? How many US PPV buys did the fight do at prime viewing time in the US compared to the amount of UK buys at 4 am in the morning?

Hatton ended up with the fat end of the purse after the UK PPV sales. He'd bite Pacs hand off if he offered the same deal.

Hatton knew what he was getting and Mayweather didn't have a clue. Mayweather thought the UK PPV revenues were not worth factoring in and let Hatton have the lot, UK PPV revenues eventually totalled somewhere in the region of 20 million quid (getting on for $40 million at the time).

Hatton was probably too busy trying not to let Floyd catch him laughing to be too fussed about trying to 'negotiate' the 70/30.

Reportedly in terms of total split of revenue it ended up pretty near 50/50.

Hatton and GBP should stop whining, take the fight at 52-48, and then lure Mayweather out of retirement.

Not surprised that it ended up pretty much 50/50, after all the UK sales pretty much doubled the US ones.
