It did 850k buys in US at $50 each. It did 1mil in UK at £15($21) each. Do the maths... hardly double.

Altogether UK+US Hatton probably did make more.

British PPV sales were 1.4 million and the pound was worth just over $2.

Maybe you should redo the maths.

You seriously think Hatton should get a HIGHER percentage for a rematch with Floyd AFTER he got knocked the **** out in the first fight? I'm willing to bet you think Pac is being "greedy" in negotiations with Hatton, yet turn around and say Ricky should get a bigger cut for a rematch of a fight that ended with him flat on his back counting lights. Pot meet kettle, man meet mirror.

Every Hatton fight since Tszyu has been PPV which would lead one to believe that they do fine.

However, SBO don't routinely release figures unless the fight is a record breaker, so no-one will be able to give you a figure that isn't completely made up.

I don't know, Sky don't release the figures (and unnamed "experts" in a Phillipine newspaper are not considered a valid sources).

I heard 800,000 after the fight, I've no idea is this is true but its certainly possible after the 1.3 million PBF-Hatton did in he UK.

UK wasn't brought in the sales because no one expected the UK sales to do that much.

What was Hattons biggest PPV in the UK prior to fighting Mayweather?

    Did it even break 200k?

Tszyu was about 1m buys, Maussa and Collazo a bit less.

    Still none too shoddy though.

Mayweather got 70% of 850,000k buys
    Hatton got 100% of 1.4million and 30% of 850,000k

Now people really should get how good a 50-50 deal is for Pac. The deal is so good that Roach is traveling to Manilla to tell Pac ignore your idiot advisers and see it as a once in a life time deal.

Just looked it up, it did 1.25mil and the pounds was not worth over $2 over christmas, in fact it was just under. Even calculated at $2 each, that is still FAR away from being double the sales of US sales. US PPV buys generated 42.5mil, UK ppv buys generated £18,750,000 which is roughly $37.5mil.

That just shows that Floyd failed to capitalise on the UK PPV market. If Hatton is allowed to capitalise on the US market, then other fighters should be able to capitalise on UK ppv market too. Floyd help sell that fight in UK, I know how popular Hatton is here and I know there was alot more buzz about him when he was undefeated fighting the undefeated p4p #1 in Floyd than there is in him fighting lazcano or Malignagi.

You talk nonsense. Hatton-Tsyzu did 300,000 ppv buys. 300k at again £15 a pop so roughly 150k ppv buys in US.

at this point in time it was 2 dollars to the pound, 1.4 million buys at 30 dollars or 850k at 55 dollars.
Which is basicaly the same figure.
