Seen as the Dollar was 1.93 to the pound in Dec 2007 id say your a long way out.

Was 1.4million buys o and Hatton got 30% of Floyds pee wee 800k buys.

    These Pac-nuts are insane.

    It was 70/30 purse split.

However, Hatton had exclusive rights to the UK PPV sales. Which were well over a million (1.25 million I seem to remember) so he ended up making significantly more than Floyd for that particular fight.

What was the date of the article where you 'looked it up'?

If it was within a few days of the fight, then that was before they had collated the full figures.

And the Pound was worth $2.02 on the day of the fight.

    1.4 million x $30 = $42 million
    0.85 million x $50 = $42.5 million

What do you mean what happened?

Fight happened, people made money, you have no idea how much, nor do I.

Where you getting your figures from man?

The fight did 1.3 million in the UK, plus the £ was trading at $2 at the time, which makes it $30 each not $21.

Forget it anyway, I forgot about the price figures. I was talking strictly about the buys.

Dude said PBF deserves less than Hatton cause PBF doesn't draw lots of ppv sales and money, his opponents do(Hatton). If thats the case then how come Paulie vs Hatton didn't do big numbers?
