230 would be perfect for him. IMO coming in at 250+ is bull**** for someone who wants to be taken seriously in todays HW division.
he should be at 230. he looked good in the witherspoon fight. I say arreola get ****ed up by any elite heavy. I would like to see him vs Sam Peter
i agree if he feels good, fast, solid he should be where he feels good as long as he can go the full fight without problems.he might have some problems with big punches to the body but he should already have that figured out in the gym long before a fight with a big puncher... as we can all see 254 is a bit big but if 239,245 is where he feels good who the **** cares as long as he is putting on a good show and winning....i think people are going to talk **** about his weight even if he gets down to 220 just because he is not built to have a sixpack and be ripped even at 220
Was LHW as an amateur once, so it's not that he can't get below 230. I think 225 would be ideal. Training like fighters who have to make weight, doing diet and using a condition coach should do the trick. 225 is very possible. Speed, movement, quicker reactions he'd get.
