Stick and move. Stay off the ropes. Use uppercuts a few times per round. Go to the body. Most importantly, rally with flurries towards the end of rounds to win decision.
This, but I would also add ..... Stop the action to celebrate any time you land something and, most importantly, raise your arms at the end of every round. Don't be afraid to fist pump and yell "Yeah!" Tom Cruise-style at the crowd. Putting on sunglasses at the end of round 12 is also highly recommended.
Stick and move.. Use angles and create oppurtunities to counter upstairs and to the body.. His defense will be one of his keys to victory.
Don't let Golovkin control the distance. Get in his chest and work that body. Alvarez is too slow to fight on the outside with Golovkin
Throw plenty of punches with the intent of not even landing in order to keep up appearances so after he gets the judges gift they can explain it away through activity.
meet him in the center of the ring and counter him. If you're going backwards, Lil G can get leverage on his punches when he lands. Every time he's looked like ****, fighters have met him in the center of ring, smothered his power and countered him. EVERY TIME. Ouma gave us the game plan years ago but he hits like a flea bites. The same with Monroe. When Monroe decided to stand and fight, he was dominating Golovkin for a full round, but the problem is that has the power of a 7 year old girl. Golovkin has little to no head movement or defense. His offense is his defense.
LOL @ people giving Canelo the advice to stick and move. Canelo's feet are about as fast as Mickey Ward's... he's not the 60s Ali for Christ sake.
