Because I hate "Long Count" Bute, I would love to see Dawson beat his ass thoroughly. However, a champ should unify and clean out his own division, so a fight with Cloud should be next.

The Pascal fight would be perfect for April assuming that the shoulder problem is not an issue. Cloud needs to have one or two more fights before taking on Dawson. Ideally, they could get Cloud on Dawson's undercard fighting a decent contender.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing this fight, either. Mack would also make a great opponent for Cloud in the scenario I posted above.

Pascal, Cloud, Mack and Dawson should make something happen at light heavy.

We all know these are the most exciting guys in the division.

Cloud hasn't defended his title yet and his team didn't want to face Chad to win it in his last fight, so I don't think that's a realistic option.

Pascal's shoulder, I would think, should have him out until next summer as a possible opponent. That's possible, but I'd rather Chad fight someone in the meantime so he doesn't get too used to these layoffs.

My vote would be Mack or Bute.

Cloud wants to fight the best of the best... If the best wants to hang in the 40 and older club sounds to me that he's worried. Also, Cloud dropped Dawson amateurs...

Cloud has called out Dawson every chance he gets... I say lets see them fight. Dawson dropped he's belt not to fight Cloud. I think it's Dawsons team that's tring to buy as much time as they can avoiding this young gun...

Why take a spot on the under card when you are in the #1 spot????Not taking that spot forced Dawson to drob the belt....

Hopkins would be his first choice but I can't see that happening. Pascal and Cloud are interchangeable options to me, but Pascal brings the most money. I see Mack mentioned and that would be a nice fight as well but both Mack and Dawson are in possible title positions so I don't know if they would be willing to give that up, at least I don't know about Mack. Dawson has proved he will take a big fight over a belt. If he can't land one of those fights I wouldn't mind seeing someone from 168 moving up to challenge him. Bute would be a big fight in Canada but I don't know if his people would want to steer him toward a Dawson fight when he can fight someone a lot easier and still sell out arenas. Even Green or Bika moving up would be a decent fight but I'd favor Dawson big in both.

Dawson could probably make a very succesful move up to cruiserweight if he wanted to. But I would like to see him stay at 175 for a while. There are some good young guys at 175 that he could face eventually and when the Super Six is over then Dawson against someone like Ward or Dirrell would be great, especially if one of those guys won or were runner-up in the tournament. Very importantly, I'd like to see Dawson start facing some younger guys. Tarver and Johnson were important fights agaist two of the top guys in the division but if he keeps fighting over 40 guys that will overshadow anything else he does.
