I do, too, but he's already been exposed as a severely limited fighter many times over.

He needs to land a title fight before he loses to a bum.

Yes, Duddy should fight carefully picked opponents until his popularity gets him a big money shot which he can lose and collect his payday.

Duddy should fight Mora, so we see who of the two disappointments is better.

What Duddy should do? Well...still accept another of our Canadian fighter:yep St-Juste and Demers could end his career very soon if nobody mind:yep It's up to him where he would like to end it up! NYC, Ireland or Montreal!

Just a little story about how he ended up with Smichet as opponent. Duddy's team called GYM to know if they would have an opponent for the Irish boy. They said yes we have Demers. Duddy's team watched the tapes of Demers and then refused. Then GYM said ok...I have a c-fighter named Smichet. His career is near a dead-end. So, GYM sent the tape of Smichet's worst fight and Duddy's team immediately accepted that opponent. There you know the rest of the story.

For sure Duddy's team should have watched the tape of Smichet-Demers fight last September which was the fight of the year in Montreal.

Smichet has lost to Sebastien Demers.
This guy was almost killed by Abraham.
IMO, Miranda won the match vs Abraham.
    Miranda was destroyed by Pavlik.

    Now, imagine Duddy vs Pavlik...

Duddy's gotta do #2. After that **** poor performance on Saturday he now has to prove himself to Pavlik all over again. He needs to work on his defense first though.

There is no reason for anybody to be "hating" on Duddy. When the Pavlik fight was first mentioned last half of last year Duddy said himself "He wasn't sure if he was ready for a fight of that magnitude". But the man has BALLS, so he decided to go for it. Plenty of reason to be "scared" to get in the ring with Pavlik, and "scared" Duddy is not. So he got caught and cut, now everybody hating on him.

    Get a better trainer.
    Take boxing lessons.
    More fights.
He is miles away from being a serious contender.

Dudd should take whatever shot he can get. he isnt going to get any better than he is now, i for one dont see a future world champ, id pick Pavlik to KO him, Abraham to box his ears off and even Sturm to beat him over 12.

I dont think Duddy has much to lose, he has a good fan base, I think maybe he can rack up a few more W's before getting a big money fight against a world title holder.

And Lockett - Duddy for the WBU Middleweight title is more realistic than Pavlik - Duddy for the Linear middleweight title...

He's got balls, a real good chin, and he sure comes to fight. To the people who question his skills, fine, but to the Duddy haters, for no reason, ya can all go **** yourselves!
