Povetkin would knock them both out on the same night.

Why is Luis Ortiz not banned? Anabolic Steroids twice. Povetkin at least was taking OTC stuff that was a lot less bad than taking steroids like Luis Ortiz.

My general idea is that someone should get a two-year ban for a first offense and a lifetime ban for a second.

You most be pretty happy. Wilder almost had to fight a legit actual HW for once.
Another voluntary defense against someone like Wawrzyk ( Eric Molina level or worse). Then probably that Bum Stiverne ( Derric Rossy level).

that is what it was meant to be / now it seems 6 months is the norm
its not a deterrent as most top fighters only fight every 6 months.

There's a reason he juiced for both Stiverne and Bronze Bomber.

    He's scared of em.

Hell, he most certainly juiced his entire career.

That's the thing - a six month ban is utterly meaningless. Even a one-year ban isn't too much of a deterrent.

Povetkin has never tested for juice. He used OTC stuff that Joe plumber could buy at GNC or on Amazon that is suppose to help boost stamina some.

Second offense should mean lifetime ban. Make an example of the motherf*cker. Utterly disgusting that the fight went ahead. And, yes, to the inevitable whataboutery - the same standard should be applied to all.

    i agree
the 2 strikes and your out policy should be in effect with a 2 year ban for the 1st offense.

boxing unlike virtually all other sports where drugs are involved can maim and kill and cheating should be punished .

Repeat after me: the enemy of your enemy is not your friend... I don't like Wilder either. That does not excuse Povetkin's use of banned substances.
