HOFers are among the best. ATGs are the best of the best. I think that distinction makes it clear Hatton is merely a HOFer. Obviously the two men who beat him are ATGs. Hey whatever happened to those guys?

Hmmm tad puzzled, surely if ur an all time great u get inducted into the hall of fame??...

Hattons had a good career, wins over surely future hofer in tszyu, 1 tough s.o.b in collazo and a man in malignaggi who stylistically shoulda been a nightmare. If your only losses are to the 2 best lb 4 lb fighters of the generation you can look back on your 2 weight world champ career and been proud of it lad!

Im a big fan of ricky's but realise that he sells **** load of tickets and ppv buys coz of who he is not coz hes the best fighter on the planet. Personally he's achieved a gr8 deal, and although it might be quite worthy, he'll be a hall of famer by popular demand more than anything :p

If there was a diamond geezer who was a very good fighter id vote for that!

Hatton will probably make it to the HOF in a very tight vote with most of his support coming from the Brits, but that is where it will end. His only two fights against World Champion talent ended with him getting KTFO.

The guys i just mentioned plus castillo and urango are wins over very good former or current world champions. I'd be with ya if you'd said 'the most elite' talent though, those 2 fights showed exactly the level of fighter hatton is, very good but comfortable short of the eilete echeleons

to be honest im a brit and were all huge huge hatton fans. But i dont know if Hattons done enough to be a hall of famer.

His wins are credible but hes not done anything astounding. Hes needs to defeat one of the elite fighters for me. If he gets inducted than hel b at the bottom of the pile of hall of famers.

Borderline HOFer but not first ballot, maybe way down the line. Better fighters have waited a long time, but if Mcguigan is in then I guess so should Hatton Probably Mcguigans equal put hed be at the bottom of the guys in the Hall. Wouldnt make a big deal if the didnt get in.
Hell Danny Lopez barely got in he waited to damn long. Donald Curry isnt in and he was way better than Hatton.
