I was just reading the Hauser article and thought to myself what if HBO were to counter program this PPV with a HBO World Championship Boxing card?

Now mind you, It is Cinco DeMayo weekend. A weekend in which HBO always has a boxing broadcast for their subscribers, why should that change now? It's not like Pac - Mosley is going to be a competitive match up as I see no way Mosley will be able to cope with the speed of Pac-man. Mosley's reflexes are gone.

So fellas what fight would you like to see HBO counter program with?

If there is a competition, us fans will be the winners!

Bradley vs Marquez is my pick, I needed a Mexican involved b/c of the Holiday.

    Khan vs Marquez

but Khan won't have Roach in his corner

honestly they will probably go with Marquez vs Morales, and that's an even worse fight than Pac vs Mosley or Cotto vs Mayorga.

Khan won't be ready for 5/7 after just fighting on 4/16

    A) Khan's fighting in April
    B) Roach can't be in two places at once

No Marquez - as they are holding him for the April 9th PPV that has Winky Wright on the Undercard.

They couldn't even make back their license fee to justify a high-profile boxer. There's only two draws in American boxing at the moment. One of them is semi-retired, the other would be their competition that night. Save a card for the weekend before or after.

Throw in all the advertisement and exposure Pac-Mosley will get from CBS and it'd be a huge waste of money to counter program. Not even the UFC would be bold enough to counter Pac-Mosley.

His date is pencilled in with SkySports for April. It'll be too much hassle for SkySports to rearrange their schedule just for Khan. Their month of May could be taken up by Haye's PPV too.
