Are you for real? Just answer the question. Even the guy who called me out of my name stated it's a good question.

600K is an awful lot for a guy who's generally always the "B" Side to huge fights.

All they got to do is a show on Bob Arum and how he single handling destroyed the Pac-Floyd fight from ever happening, and many others.

    Yes.

30 million subscribers to HBO as you stated.

    1. What percentage of people that subscribe to HBO like boxing?
    2. What percentage of people that subscribe to HBO are Mexican?

    Multiply those two percentages.

    3. What percentage of that number would have no interest in a Pacquiao-Mosley fight, but want to watch boxing that night?

    My answer:

    1. 10% (3 million, which is maybe a stretch, but I'm being generous)
    2. 5% (fair number I think, this is a premium channel)

    0.1 * 0.05 = 0.005, or 0.5% of 30 million = 150,000.

    3. Say it's even half that number. You're talking a max audience of 75,000. Is that really worth it?

600,000 viewers is easy for the Mexican on a Mexican Holiday. Note Viewers, not PPV buys.

Nothing because everyone would buy the Pacman fight, if they want to **** on Arum they should put a fight on the week before, stealing the disposable income out the market, but that could back fire if fans budget

    Berto vs Magic Man

No joking - nothing. The amount of buyers is a finite pool. No point in halfing it. You will not maximize your profit. Do it a week before

:nut:rofl:D:yep You can come up with all of this, but you can't come up with a fight that you would want to see as a boxing fan that you might not normally get b/c of a feud.

You know, March 12th Cotto vs Mayorga is on SHO-PPV, while HBO world Championship Boxing broadcast The Middleweight Champion of the world defending his title. You got some numbers for that too?

So you fail to understand the concept of math.

If you have any issue with my numbers I posted, feel free to list it.

Cotto, Mayorga, Martinez are boxing fan draws.

Pacquiao is a sports fan draw.

Sports fans in this country >>>>>>>> Boxing fans.
