Hey guys, Long story short, I’ve moved to a new area and I’m looking to start boxing with the aim of competing. However, in 3 weeks time I will be house sitting for a friend for a week, and I won’t be able to travel, and after that I’m going on holiday abroad for 2 weeks. My question is, should I join the boxing club for these first few weeks then go back after my time away, or should I train myself to get my fitness up, and then start once and for all in 6 weeks time? Any advice would be appreciated, thank you
No time like the present! Find a place and if you like the feel of it introduce yourself, explain your situation and get training! Not sure where you are in the world but it's likely that the boxing season is over for a few months now anyway so not the end of the world being away over the next month or two.
