What should Joe Calzaghe do after winning the title at 175?

    I've just been curious what people think he should do?
    Stay at 175 or go back down to 168 as it probably has more depth
    This is not intended to be a Hopkins-Calzaghe thread so please stick to the topic assuming that Joe does win...Thanks mates

    I don't know? **** Roy Jones up? Fight Woods? Retire? Or how about a fight against Dawson?

    fight another big name and another prospect then retire. i mean the guys been on top for too long. i'd say fight pavlik and dawson.

    Pavlik doesnt seem realistic as I don't think he will break his gameplan to stay at 160 and unify
    The winner of Dawson-Diaconu would be good though
    Anyone else?? Maybe a rematch with Kessler IF he does well in the meantime

    He should have a home coming fight against Clinton Woods then retire.


    OR

    He should go back to 168 and whoop the Pavlik Taylor winner.

    Yes it would be a good match up. And I don't see KP fighting at 175 for another 2 years or so.

    Fight Lucian Bute and four tomato cans until having a 50-0 record. Then retire.

    Of course, he could stay active and only agree to fight "superfights"...Jones, Pavlik, maybe Dawson, etc.

    What are your thoughts about that one? If Diaconu beats Dawson in brutal fashion, & we know its possible because thats the reason Dawson is such a good defensive fighter, to protect that soft chin he himself knows he has, what would he do with Joe C?

    Follow suit with Jones and Toney.


    Assault the heavyweight division and fight any of the smaller guys who holds a belt. He'll probably win and earn a huge payday.
