What should Paul Williams do Next: Official Poll Results.

i'm working on a thread on both of them...they both seem to have options now that i think about it, which could/should end up w/ them still fighting

 

Thats probably what will happen because:

1. Martinez would like to have a rematch with PWilly but Pwilly is in hiding.

2. Pavlik stood center ring and offered him a fight but Pwilly is in hiding.

So, PWilliy is negotiating a fight with Cintron. Obviously hiding from martinez and Pavlik.

 

Why are you so worried about what paul williams is doing.

 

All 3 in any particular order for me.

 

Because he is trying to make up for the way Pavlik is regarded in the boxing world these days.


His only solace is to put down Williams in order to make Pav look like some Middle Weight Monster. Think about this though...


Williams can barely make the Middleweight Minimum for a title fight. He weighs in at 157, and comes to the ring at 159, and with an extremely high calorie diet. His walk-around weight is less than that of most welterweights, belive it or not. And when Pav steps up in weight class, he gets his ass beat like a pinata by a senior citizen.


So what does that say about Pav fans? What would people be saying about Floyd if he and his fans behaved this way.

 

What it say's about Pavlik fans is that they have low self esteem and are trying to bring the confident Williams fans down to their level!:yep

 

People are skipping Cibntron way to much Williams takes to much shots in the face and Cintron is capable to Knock Wiliams the **** out if they fight at Light Middleweight..

 

Look at the years of those fights. Since he has stepped up his training, conditioning, and time-off living habits, he is naturally a smaller man than he was then. Fact.

 

It should also say try to get fights at 147 but either way the man has great fights and he does face fghters

I still havent had one answer regarding those 3 facts.

He's naturally smaller at 28 than he was at 19. He can barely make the middleweight minimum. ...I guess if you say it, it becomes a fact. Cotto only beat Mosley because of the venue too, right? Keep it up. It's all gold, my man.

 

It looks like Pavlik-Martinez will happen this spring. Those are Williams two best options, so facing Cintron is a solid third. A fight with Sturm would make a lot of sense but it seems Sturm is having promotional issues so I don't know when we'll see Sturm again. If Kirkland hadn't gone to jail then he and Williams would have been a big fight right now, but like Sturm, I don't think thats a possibility right now. Of all the possible options available for a spring fight Cintron has to be one of the best choices.

 

Sure does. I've never seen a Paul Williams fight that wasn't worth watching. :good

 

Paul walks around lighter than he did ten years ago. Fact.


He trains a lot harder and stays a lot better conditioned when he's not fighting than he used to. Fact.


I know how stupid it sounds, but it's true.

 

Kirkland/Williams would've been an insane fight, in a good way. I'd be curious to see how Sturm and Williams would handle each other.
