The problem with him fighting the Bute v Froch II winner is that he could have a long wait. Say Bute wins then they'll probably need a trilogy. If Froch wins then Wards just waited a year to fight someone he already beat convincingly, and who may well look to fight Kessler instead of him.

He's beaten almost all the top contenders at 168 except the Dirrell brothers, and Bute.

I'd love to see Dirrell vs Ward, but Dirrell hasn't done anything to deserve a title shot. His brother Anthony is recovering from a motorcycle accident. He should move up to LHW and fight Shumenov or Hopkins.

i agree...dirrell is the only 168lber that i have an unwavering belief that can beat ward..he's faster and hits harder..if only dirrell's mind was as strong as his fighting ability..but he needs to get off his ass and actually fight

Put him in with a puncher like Stevenson from Montreal. It would be a fun fight while it lasted.

hope Bute wins vs Froch then that fight becomes available, i dont think many are interested in a Froch rematch

Martinez will never go to 168 but if Chavez wins he would, so hope Chavez wins then call him out

move up, fight Cloud or Shumenov, or Campillo, or Pascal, or Hopkins

question didnt Ward win Dawsons RING title, they were technically under the 175 pound limit

    Cloud shouldn't be undefeated.

Fight Dirrell or wait for the Martinez-Chavez winner.

He should move up to 175 and fight Dawson there, fight Froch again, or fight Bute.

A fight with the winner of Chavez Jr./Martinez winner would essentially determine the best fighter from 160 lbs through 175 lbs - provided Ward wins - which he would.

Dirrel is probably the last challenge out there at 168 lbs.

I still think Bute vs Ward would be a good fight, but don't think it happens.

There isn't really any big fights at 175 lbs though, Pascal and Cloud are coming of loses to Bernard Hopkins and Gabriel Campillo (in my opinion). But may be interesting fights.
